Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
MobileRank.top is an information project with rankings of smartphones, chipsets and GPUs. We don't ask you to register, we don't run user accounts, and we don't collect names, phone numbers or addresses. Below is what does get collected automatically — and how to turn it off.
What data is collected
The site collects no personal data directly. When you visit, anonymised technical and statistical information is recorded automatically:
- IP address and the approximate region derived from it;
- device type, operating system, browser, screen resolution;
- referral source (search engine, link, direct visit);
- pages viewed, time on site, scroll depth;
- search terms entered into the site's internal search.
Analytics services
We use third-party services to collect statistics. That data is processed on their servers under their own policies:
- Yandex Metrica (Yandex LLC) — Yandex privacy policy;
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — Google privacy policy.
Session Replay (Webvisor)
Yandex Metrica's Session Replay (Webvisor) is enabled. It records anonymised visitor actions on pages: mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and navigation between pages. We use these recordings solely to find awkward spots in the interface — for example, where people can't find a filter or drop off a comparison page — and fix them.
Recordings may include text you type into the site search — it appears in the page URL and in the results heading. Search on MobileRank.top is meant for smartphone, chipset and GPU models: please don't enter personal information into it.
Recordings are stored by Yandex Metrica for a limited time and are available only to the counter owner. We don't use them to identify individuals and we don't link them to a visitor's identity.
Cookies and browser storage
The site itself sets no cookies of its own. Your chosen theme (light or dark)
is saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and is never
transmitted anywhere — it exists only so the page opens the way you left it.
Analytics cookies are set by Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics, letting those services tell new visitors from returning ones. You can disable them in your browser settings — the site will keep working in full.
Why we need this data
- to understand which rankings and comparisons people actually want;
- to find and fix interface and performance problems;
- to see where visitors come from, so we develop the right sections.
We do not sell data, do not pass it to third parties (other than the analytics services named above), and do not use it for marketing emails — we send you nothing, because we don't know your contact details.
How to opt out
- Yandex Metrica — Yandex Metrica opt-out blocker;
- Google Analytics — browser opt-out add-on;
- disable cookies in your browser settings;
- use a tracker blocker or an extension that blocks analytics scripts.
The Do Not Track header and private browsing mode do not by themselves disable analytics — the official opt-out tools above are more reliable.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what data about you is processed, and to request its correction, deletion or restriction of processing. Because we store no personal data and cannot link statistics to a specific person, such requests are generally best addressed directly to the analytics services listed above.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top of the document.
